My site evaluator was Dr. Beckerman, an emergency medicine physician and professor at York College PA program. During my site evaluations, I presented all the history and physicals that I written from my time at the Internal Medicine Department at NYPQ. Dr. Beckerman offered constructive comments on presenting patients and helped me improve the writing of my H&Ps. When I presented my first two cases Dr. Beckerman made very appropriate comments. In the end he said I had broad and appropriate differentials with a good assessment and plan. He enjoyed how out of the box some of my H&Ps were, since one of patients was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis. He also thoroughly assessed my proposed plan for the patient. Feedback regarding this area was especially beneficial because it helped me learn how to manage cases and grow as a future medical provider. I appreciated Dr. Beckerman for the time he took to meet with us and comments that he made to help us grow.
